Hsin Hsin has published five volumes of poetry. What I like about her poems is that they are accessible and enjoyable. She is a genius for words, puns and rhymes. She has a sense of humor, and delights in the ironies. She gently pokes fun at many of society's pretensions, follies and injustices. Shes does it all charmingly and effortlessly.
I have enjoyed reading this volume of Hsin Hsin's poems. I hope you will too.

In Bytes We Travel
1997
Hsin Hsin takes the language of the designers of cyberspace as a starting point for imagining. She does this in ways that I find provocative, amusing, and true. She helps the builders of cyberspace see what they are creating, and by seeing, they change what they are creating.
Hsin Hsin chooses her base poetic language the vocabulary of cyberspace. Her basis of her evocative work is the technical vocabulary engineers design not to be evocative. She takes the language of dry precision as an instrument of suggestion. She transforms careful words to create intricate mechanisms of networks and computers into carefree explorers. She breaks down the walls that separate technical vocabularies. She plays with words that take themselves seriously.

Hsin Hsin scores again with her collection of techno poems. Her intimate knowledge of the computer industry has enabled her to give a humourous and jovial twist to issues surrounding the IT world. A must-read for techno freaks.

This piece of literature shows a keen understanding of both technology and art. It is a good marriage between the logical world of technology and poetry of the art form. I strongly recommend everyone to read this.

She interlaces words into funny, 'witty and thoughtful poems. They tinkle in the reader's mind like a summer breeze gently shaking wind-bells.
Lin Hsin Hsin is also romantizing the CPU. She is so fond of computers that she delivered a full book of verses chanting - and duly teasing - the machine of her daily profession.
