a moment ago
it was calm
coils of silence
well-balanced...
in just a moment
change is the very fabric
of time
of this dazzling echo
enduring echos
fierce, hostile & sullen
blazing across the night sky
poised for takeoff
with a roar
just on time
unforgettable chorus
savoring the remnants of the night
swirls of pink & orange
flashes of neon
staining the vista of the sky
massive rain swept
seemingly overnight
fog-cloaked sky
riding the tides
darkness settled over the shore
wind & rain dispersed the veil
streaking across water
with a terrible brilliance
like soda in hot spring
with a tender nudge
a quick escape
rewarding vistas
ended with soft notes
as sun inched steadily
paradise of nature
again witnessed
paths to the future...
