it's pixels that speak

art as exhibits
has transformed

from real to unreal
from unreal to surreal
from surreal to superreal

art as exhibits
has exit

from its physical space
into a virtual space
@ a sonic pace

from oils to acrylics
from sculptures to ceramics
from sketches to images sleek

art as exhibits
all are reduced to pixel deep

from cartoon to lyrics
from kitsch to satiric
all are recycled bits

looking at art as exhibits
are pixels still as exotic?

from artists unknown to famous picks
from occassional to serious geeks
in virtual space they cohabit

as pixels squeak
is experiencing art still as esoteric?

as the meaning of art we continuously seek
we ask, what then is aesthetics?
